Davis Feels At Home At Mizzou

The Missouri Tigers had a host of unofficial visitors on campus last Saturday for their biggest game of the season. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with one of their top 2015 offers who was there, and has his thoughts on the visit.

The Missouri Tigers offered 2015 Blue Springs (MO) DT Carlos Davis 6'3" 270 before the start of his junior season based on his athleticism and potential. So far in 2013, Davis is living up to both with his play having recorded 45 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks, while being a major part of they Wildcats stingy defense that has them undefeated and atop the Class 6 standings

Carlos was among the many unofficial visitors this past weekend, and he spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about how he felt following the trip to Columbia.

"I love it up there!," said Davis. "When ever I go there they make me feel like I've known Mizzou forever. It just feels like home up there!"

Davis got the chance to speak to a couple of other visitors on his trip, including a 2014 Missouri commit.

"I didn't really talk to a lot of people, but I did talk with Kevin Pendleton, and Antwon President. He really likes it up there and he's an great athlete!"

Carlos Davis also shared his thoughts on the Tigers and where they stand with him in his recruitment.

"I love Mizzou and they're in the top five, and yes, I will be going back up there," he said.

Carlos' brother and fellow Missouri 2015 offer DE/DT Khalil Davis also made the trip to Mizzou. He was unavailable for comment, but the twins have said that they will be attending the same college together.
