Following his final official visit to Missouri this past weekend, 2014 LB prospect Brandon Lee 6’3” 212 Indianapolis (IN) Lawrence Central spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri visit, and he updated us on his recruitment and his plans for a decision later this week.
“It was great,” said Lee, speaking of his Missouri visit. “I had a really good time, and they showed me to a good time. All around, in all the aspects of the visit, it was a great visit!”
He was able to be around the Missouri players in the locker room after their win over Tennessee.
I asked Lee what stood out to him about his Missouri visit?
“Just the way that the players bond together, and the way that they played against Tennessee,” replied Lee, who went on to talk about his impression of Missouri. “Missouri plays as a family, and the guys, they’re really brothers. They understand teamwork and all of that.”
Lee said that the brotherhood he witnessed at Missouri really appeals to him.
Lee said that he really enjoyed the attention that he received from Coach Pinkel and Coach Steckel.
“Coach Stec tells me that he sees me playing all three of the linebacker positions,” explained Lee. “They said that they really want me, and they said that Missouri would be a great fit for me.”
Lee has received more than 20 scholarship offers from major conference schools all around the country, including California, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest, among many others, in addition to Missouri.
He’s narrowed things down to California, Louisville, Missouri, and Virginia Tech, all of which he has visited. He’s planning to announce his decision later this week, at 3:00 P.M. on Friday.
“All four schools are even at this point,” explained Lee, who went on to say that he has not yet made a decision. “Thursday, I have to make a decision.”
Lee, who has been timed at 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash, will graduate in December, and he plans to enroll in January.
