Official Visit To Missouri Being Planned

2014 recruits are in the process of scheduling their official visits to their top colleges choices with their football seasons winding down. ShowMeMizzou.com has an update of one such standout plans regarding Missouri.

This week, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2014 WR prospect Ryan Sousa 6’1” 180 Orlando (FL) Lake Nona, who updated us on his recruitment.

Nona finished their season at 8-3, and Sousa closed out his senior year with 100 receptions for 1664 yards and 23 TDs. Now, the talented playmaker and Florida State commit turns his attention to closing out his recruitment.

For months, Sousa has been telling me that Florida State and Missouri are his top two schools. He reiterated that this week.

Sousa indicated that he has been speaking with Missouri Head Coach Gary Pinkel and Missouri Assistant Coach Brian Jones on a regular basis.

"We talk about everything, just building our relationships,” explained Sousa, when I asked him what he talks about with the Missouri staff. “They let me know that they really want me (to play at Missouri).”

Part of the appeal that Missouri holds for Sousa is that he plays in “the same offense” in high school that Missouri runs. He’s a dynamic slot receiver who can also be effective playing on the outside.

Sousa is visiting Florida this week, and he’s planning to visit Boston College on December 6th. He’s also planning to schedule official visits to Florida State and Missouri
