On Saturday, 2014 LB commit Brandon Lee 6’3” 212 Indianapolis (IN) Lawrence Central and members of his family made the trip to Columbia for the Texas A&M game. Afterwards, he told ShowMeMizzou.com that he really enjoyed the visit to Missouri and the game.
“It was a great game,” said Lee. “It was one of the best games I’ve seen in person in my life!”
Lee, who committed to Missouri on his 18th birthday last month, will finish high school in a couple of weeks, and he has already begun the necessary paperwork to enroll at Missouri for the spring semester. He spoke to Coach Pinkel earlier in the evening about setting up an in-home visit for next week, at which time they’ll address more of the details regarding his early enrollment.
Lee said that he’s done some recent testing at Lawrence Central, and he reported a 9’8” broad jump, to go along with a 4.18-second 5-10-5 shuttle. He had previously reported a 4.6-second 40-yard dash.
He said that the Missouri staff has talked to him about playing in the middle or on the strong side. His first goal is to get in the weight room and put on about 25-30 pounds of muscle. And, he’s looking forward to competing on the field in the spring to try to win a job.
“I’m pretty excited about (coming to Missouri),” said Lee. “I’m looking forward to getting there (in January).”
