“I like Missouri a lot,” said Cage. “I don’t know a lot about them, but I know that their D-line is killer. The coach is a real good coach! So, I’m looking forward to going there and meeting them, and seeing where they can put me.................................................. I know the lead the SEC in sacks.”
Cage is an explosive defensive lineman who’s posted a 4.7-second forty, and who holds offers from Akron, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (OH), Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Western Michigan, and West Virginia, in addition to Missouri.
He’s recently narrowed things down to Cincinnati, Illinois, Louisville, Michigan State, and Missouri, and he has already taken unofficial visits to Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, and Louisville.
“I’ll probably be visiting Missouri in January,” explained Cage, who went on to say that Missouri Assistant Coaches Cornell Ford and Craig Kuligowski are coming to see him this Wednesday.
The 17-year-old Cage also reported a 28” vertical, a 4.6-second 5-10-5 shuttle, and personal maximums of 415 pounds in the bench press and 560 pounds in the squat.
Cage said that he’ll “probably” make a decision after his “last visit”, “sometime in January”.
