Earlier this week, 6’2” 193-pound athlete and 2014 safety prospect Tajee Fullwood of Tampa Bay Tech in Tampa (FL) told ShowMeMizzou.com that he had spoken to Missouri Assistant Coach Brian Jones. Fullwood, who is currently committed to USF, but admits that he is “still looking at other schools”, talked about his recruitment, and his interest in Missouri.
“I talked to Coach Jones on the phone,” explained Fullwood. “He was asking me about my grades and my ACT score.”
Fullwood indicated that he has recently taken the test, and that Missouri is waiting on his test score before they offer. And while the Tigers have not yet offered Fullwood, there is interest on both sides.
“I hope Missouri offers me,” explained Fullwood. “I would be very interested.”
Fullwood is a versatile athlete who is currently playing basketball for Tampa Bay Tech. He reports personal bests of 4.53-seconds in the 40-yard dash, and a 38” vertical jump.
Fullwood said that he has “like thirty offers”, including offers from Arizona, Florida State, Indiana, Louisville, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Western Kentucky, among others. He said that he’s looking at Florida State, Rutgers, and Syracuse, among others.
“I’m still looking,” explained Fullwood, who is being recruited by most schools as a WR or a corner. “I’m still open to whatever comes.”
