This weekend, Missouri hosted several official visitors, including 2014 DB prospect Kenya Dennis 6'0" 204 Raymond (MS) Hinds Community College, who will begin classes at Missouri in January and participate in Spring Football.
Following his visit, Dennis spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his visit, and getting started at Mizzou.
"My Missouri visit was awesome!" explained Dennis. "It was a blast! It was a great experience. Nice people, man! It was more than what I expected."
Dennis, who has played both corner and safety in junior college, said that when they broke down into their position groups, he was with Coach Ford and the corners.
Yet, Coach Ford has indicated that the versatile Dennis will probably start out at the nickel back position in the spring.
Dennis was very impressed and pleased to get to know some of the Missouri players and coaches.
"They're good people," said Dennis, speaking of the Missouri players and coaches.
He's a physical defensive back who is strong in man-to-man coverage, and who is a good open-field tackler. He's been timed at 4.38 seconds in the forty, and he's done 16 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.
Dennis is looking forward to competing at the nickel back position in the spring, and he's looking forward to wearing the Black & Gold.
He's excited about getting started at Missouri in January.
"Missouri is great! I look forward to playing for Missouri," said Dennis.
