Upcoming Mizzou Visitor Close To Deciding

2014 high school football recruits will resume taking official visits this weekend to colleges they are considering. ShowMeMizzou.com has the latest on one of their upcoming visitors for the 17th, and where things stand.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Carrolton (TX) Hebron High School Head Coach Brian Brazil, about 2014 DE prospect Daniel Wise 6’3” 260 Lewisville (TX) Hebron, and Coach Brazil updated us on the recruitment of his talented defensive lineman.

Wise has received scholarship offers from Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, SMU, and Texas Tech, in addition to Missouri.

“Missouri is looking at him as a defensive end,” said Coach Brazil, speaking of Wise. “But he’s a versatile kid. He can play the inside or outside.”

Coach Brazil reported that Wise has been timed at 4.9 seconds in the 40-yard dash, and he’s posted a 28” vertical jump.

“He was an outstanding player for us,” said Coach Brazil, continuing to speak of Wise. “He runs well. He’s got a great motor!”

Coach Brazil said that Wise is very aggressive on the football field, and he “plays whistle to whistle”.

“He’s got a mission to get to the football,” said Coach Brazil, speaking of Wise. “He has that tenacity that makes him a great player!”

Coach Brazil confirmed that Wise will take his official visit to Missouri on January 17.

“I think he’s very interested in Missouri,” said Coach Brazil, who indicated that Wise has already visited Kansas and Texas Tech. “Before he would want to commit there, I think he’d want to see the campus………………………………… I really think Missouri’s the last visit he’s wanting to make.”

“I think there’s a lot of excitement with the opportunity to go to Missouri,” said Coach Brazil.
