Blair Breaks Down Recruitment And Missouri caught up with 2014 Florida receiver Desean Blair to get the latest regarding recent developments with his recruitment, including where the Missouri Tigers may fit into his situation.

Earlier this week, spoke with 2014 WR prospect Desean Blair 6’4” 190 Jacksonville (FL) Sandalwood, who informed us that he recently received a Missouri offer. Blair updated us on his recruitment.

“I’m committed to Louisville right now,” said Blair. “But you know how things have been going with that.”

Blair reports "about fifteen" offers, including offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Nebraska, Purdue, Temple, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Missouri.

Blair has an official visit on tap to Louisville for this weekend (1-24-14). And, he visited Nebraska last weekend. He named Louisville, Nebraska, and Missouri as his current three schools of interest.

Blair reported a personal best of 4.55 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 35” vertical, a 4.4-second 5-10-5 shuttle, and a bench max of 235 pounds. The long strider runs the 400 meters and the 200 meters for his school’s track team. He reports having run a 50-second 400 meters, and a 21-second 200 meters.

Blair has an official visit to Missouri tentatively scheduled for January 31. He expects to speak with Missouri Assistant Coach Pat Washington this week.

Blair is friends with Marvin Zanders, a 2014 QB prospect who enrolled early at Missouri this week.

“That’s my boy, right there,” explained Blair, speaking of Zanders. “Missouri was on him before he had any offers.”
