Scott Talks About His Missouri Offer

The Missouri Tigers are still in the process of evaluating and offering prospects this late in the recruiting prospect. gets the thoughts of their latest offer from the state of Georgia.

Missouri has extended a scholarship offer to 2014 WR prospect Caleb Scott 6’3” 190 Suwanee (GA) North Gwinnett. Scott confirmed the offer to, talked about his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“I’m definitely excited about the Missouri offer,” said Scott. “I’m still just thinking about it all. It’s all coming so fast right now.”

Scott is taking an official visit to TCU this weekend (1-24-14). He cited Missouri, TCU, and Vanderbilt as his top three schools.

Scott said that Missouri Offensive Coordinator Josh Henson and Receivers Coach Pat Washington will be coming to see him Tuesday evening for an in-home visit. He said that he’s planning to visit Missouri on January 31.

Scott reported a personal best of 4.54 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 35” vertical, a 4.12-second 5-10-5 shuttle, and 8 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

He also said that his teammate and Missouri commit Nate Brown has been recruiting him to come to Missouri.

“Missouri is definitely up there on my list,” said Scott. “I went up there this summer, and it’s a pretty awesome place! And, they did really well this year as an offense.”
