"I have committed to play football for Missouri," said Brady. "It's an honor being here at Missouri and being accepted by the family, just being a part of the family here at Mizzou. It's a great feeling!"
Brady said that he informed Coach Pinkel of his decision during the Missouri-Kentucky basketball game.
"Coach Pinkel was excited," explained Brady. "He welcomed me into the family!"
Brady, who grew up in Memphis before his family recently moved to Alabama, was on his official visit to Missouri, along with his mother and grandmother.
Brady has switched his commitment to Missouri from Middle Tennessee State, and he also reports having received offers from Alabama A&M, Kentucky, Louisville, San Diego State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, UAB, and Vanderbilt, among others.
He has reported a personal best in the 40-yard dash of 4.7 seconds, to go along with a maximum in the bench press of 315 pounds, and a squat max of 405 pounds.
"It's a blessing," said Brady, speaking of the opportunity to play football at Missouri.
