Mizzou Offer: "I'd Love To Play For Mizzou"

The Missouri Tigers are on a recent roll of extending offers to the class of 2015 prospects following last weeks big finish put on their most recent signing day. ShowMeMizzou.com has the details and thoughts from a 2015 standouts offer.

Recently, Missouri extended a scholarship offer to 2015 kicker/punter prospect Austin Seibert 5’10” 195 Belleville (IL) West, the first high school kicker to receiver a scholarship offer from Missouri in several years.

Seibert said that he “wasn’t expecting” a Missouri offer.

“When I found out about the Missouri offer, I was real excited about it,” said Seibert. “I really appreciate the offer. It was just real exciting!”

Seibert currently holds offers from Miami (FL) and Northwestern, in addition to Missouri.

He talked about his interest in Mizzou.

“I think it’s just awesome!” explained Seibert. “Missouri is great! I mean, they have a great football program.I’d love to play for Mizzou.”

He went on to say that he wants to visit the schools that have offered him, and learn as much as he can about each of them. He said that currently, all three of the schools that have offered him are about the same in his mind. He said that he doesn’t have a dream school.

Seibert said that he won’t be attending Missouri’s Junior Day this Saturday because he had already made other plans. But, he did say that he will be visiting Missouri soon.

During the 2013 season, Seibert was 42-for-42 on PATs, and 9-for-11 on field goals. He hasn’t forgotten the 2 misses. He said that both of them were wide left, a 42-yarder, and a 57-yarder.On kick-offs, he said that he was 46-for-52 on touchbacks, including 16 that went through the uprights. He also averaged more than 46 yards per punt.
