Later, Hilton spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about the Missouri offer, and his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.
Missouri is the first school to offer the talented two-way football player and multi-sport athlete. He’s also receiving interest from a number of schools.
“It’s nice that Mizzou was my first offer,” said Hilton. “I love Mizzou!”
Hilton said that Missouri has indicated that because of his versatility, he could end up playing on either side of the football for the Tigers.
Hilton camped with Missouri in 2012, when he was named a camp MVP at defensive back.
His best 40 time last summer was 4.6 seconds, but he said that he’s a lot faster now than he was last summer.
He talked about Missouri.
“I like Missouri,” said Hilton. “I like it a lot! I can see myself going to Missouri. But I don’t really know anything right now. I’m just going to wait until I know for sure.”
Hilton was surprised by the Missouri offer, and he hasn’t really given much thought to when he might make a decision.
“If anybody offered me, Mizzou would still be one of my top choices,” explained Hilton.
He said that he’s unable to attend Missouri’s Junior Day, but that he’ll be visiting Missouri soon.
