"Yes. I did (commit to Mizzou)," said Williams in a text to ShowMeMizzou.com after making his decision known to Tiger coaches.

Williams has been thought to be a Missouri lean for a while based on what he has said regarding the Tigers for over a year now.

He knew coming into today that he would commit at the Tigers Junior Day event he is currently attending.

I wanted to keep it a secret for a while. But I really like the program and it just feels like home, and it really fits me," he said. I asked him if the chance to continue to play with former teammates and good friends Cheadle and Pendleton helped play a role?

"A little bit, but my Mom helped me out with the decision a lot and my coach did as well."

Ryan Williams ran for 956 yards on 126 carries, averaging 7.5 yards per carrying in 2013, while scoring 12 TDs on the ground. He also had 14 receptions for 173 yards and 3 more TDS.
