“I really liked Missouri,” said Harris. “I got to spend some time with Clay Rhodes. He’s from my high school. And, he kind of showed me around campus and where he stays. Just the entire campus, and the rec center, and where people go to study, so that was really nice. Then, I met with Coach Pinkel, and we just exchanged a few words. Then I talked with Coach Walker and with Coach Hill, as well.”
“We’re pretty good friends,” said Harris, describing his relationship with Clay Rhodes.
Harris is the top-ranked player in the state of Kansas, and he currently holds offers from Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Ohio State.
“Coach Walker was talking to me about how I should choose Missouri,” said Harris, who said that Missouri is recruiting him to play center and guard. “He said that the guys who put in the most work are usually the ones who play……………………………………. I really like Coach Walker. Me and him get along really well. I can tell how Mizzou is definitely a family atmosphere, and I like that a lot.”
Rhodes reports a 5.0 forty time and a 30” vertical jump. He plays left tackle for Blue Valley, and also does the long-snapping on placements.
Harris identified the Missouri staff as his favorite thing about Mizzou.
Harris said that he doesn’t have a narrowed list at this point, but that he plans to take some visits this spring, including a return visit to Missouri, and come to a decision in late spring or early summer.
Harris said that Missouri is very much in the picture for him.
“Missouri is definitely in the picture,” said Harris.
