As ShowMeMizzou.com recently reported, Missouri has extended a scholarship offer to 2015 CB prospect P.J. Mbanasor 6’2” 185 Pflugerville (TX) Hendrickson. Mbanasor spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about the Missouri offer, and he updated us on his recruitment.
Mbanasor currently holds offers from Baylor, Houston, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UTSA, Wake Forest, and Washington State. He verbally committed to TCU, but he told ShowMeMIzzou.com that he is “open” to other schools, and a “soft verbal” to TCU. He intends to take visits to other schools, including one to Missouri.
“Missouri is my second SEC offer,” said Mbanasor. “Missouri’s a pretty high-caliber, respectable school. I’m definitely going to take a visit there over the summer, meet the coaches face to face, see the facilities, and meet some of the players…………………………………….. Checking it out will give me a better look at things.”
Mbanasor reports a personal best of 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 4.23-second 5-10-5 shuttle.
Mbanasor plans to research Missouri prior to visiting Mizzou.
Mbanasor said that he’s looking for “that perfect fit”. He said that he doesn’t expect to make a final decision until later this year.
“I’m not in any hurry,” said Mbanasor. “It’s a long process, and I want to take the best opportunity available to me.”
