The stream of 2015 offer from the Missouri Togers for their 2015 football recruiting class continues. ShowMeMizzou.com caught up with one of the latest, and he talked about his Missouri offer, and his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

A week or so ago, ShowMeMizzou.com reported that 2015 DB prospect James P.J. Locke  5'11"  190  Beaumont (TX) Central has received a Missouri offer.     Locke spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri offer, and his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

"I like Missouri,"    said Locke.   "It was just a shock to receive a Missouri offer.  It just came out of nowhere.   I have a former teammate (Nicalus Rhone) who plays at Missouri, so I could go there and play with him."

Locke currently holds offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Missouri, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA, and Washington State.

"I really don't have a top list (of schools) right now,"   explained Locke, who said that distance from home is not a factor for him.

Locke reported personal bests of 4.52 seconds in the 40-yard dash, 320 pounds in the bench press, and 15 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

He said that he would probably make a decision later in the year, either before or after his senior season.

"I'm looking for a coach who can enhance my ability to reach my goal of playing in the NFL,"   explained Locke, talking about his criteria for choosing a school.    "I like a family oriented coach that I can go to them and talk about anything, I mean, academics, or anything outside of football, you know, family, anything like that.......................................................   And, one that can relate to me, that will give me good constructive criticism."

Locke is planning to visit Missouri, "either in the spring or during the summer".
