2016 Missouri Offer Talks Tigers

The Missouri Tigers are heavily involved in locking down top talent for their 2015 football recruiting class, but that doesn't preclude them from looking ahead and working to get in the mix early for a top 2016 prospect.

A little over a week ago, 2016 WR prospect Josh Imatorbhebhe   6'3"  202   Suwanee (GA) North Gwinnett accompanied his older brother Daniel on an unofficial visit to Missouri.    While on the visit, he received a Missouri offer.    Recently, he spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and he said that the Missouri offer was big for him.

"It was great!   I wasn't really expecting anything.    I was just going up there in support of my brother,"   explained Josh Imatorbhebhe.    "When (Missouri) offered me a scholarship, it really showed me that they want me and my brother.   I was later informed that I'm the first one they've offered in the 2016 class."

For the sophomore receiver, Missouri was also his first visit to a school that has offered him a scholarship.    Josh reported having received offers from Boston College, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Missouri.      He said that all four schools have also offered his older brother.

"We've always had dreams of going to the same school,"   said Josh Imatorbhebhe, referring to the opportunity to join his brother in college.    "We both have offers from (Missouri), so it just makes it a lot easier in the decision process."

Josh Imatorbhebhe said that he and Coach Washington have really hit it off well.     He reported personal bests of 4.58 seconds in the 40-yard dash, along with a 41" vertical, a 4.4-second 5-10-5 shuttle, and a 335-pound maximum in the bench press.

Josh Imatorbhebhe said that Missouri "is definitely a place where I can see myself, and playing for Coach Pat Washington."

Josh Imatorbhebhe said that he plans to graduate early, in December of 2015.   And, he said that he might return to Missouri in June for a team camp.
