Missouri Targets JUCO Lineman

ShowMeMizzou.com has the very latest on a talented JUCO line prospect who recently received an offer from the Missouri Tigers. Come inside and find out where Mizzou sits among his list of schools, and what his plans are.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2014 OT Jamal Danley  6'5"  310  Byhalia/Scooba (MS) East Mississippi Community College, who confirmed receipt of a Missouri offer, and who talked about his interest in Missouri, and the current status of his recruitment.

"Missouri offered me last week,"   said Danley.    "I like Missouri.    It's a big-time SEC offer!"

Danley currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Massachusetts, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, South Florida, and Temple, in addition to Missouri.    He's also hearing from LSU and Ole Miss.

Danley said that he currently considers Missouri to be his top school.     But, he's not going to be taking visits until this fall.   Danley is on pace to graduate this summer, and he'll be able to enroll at the school of his choice in January with two years remaining to play.

Danley describes himself as a "better run blocker than pass blocker", but he said he's working on his pass blocking.      He said that he expects to see a Missouri coach at East Mississippi next week.

Danley is cognizant of just having two years remaining to play, so early playing time is going to be a major consideration in his decision.
