Offensive line is a prime target and focus for the Missouri Tigers for their 2015 recruiting class. The Tigers have extended a fair amount of offer to offensive linemen across the country on both the high school and junior college level.
There are several in-state offensive line prospects who the Tigers are closely monitoring and will be evaluated at their camps coming up in June.
One of those OL prospects is Webb City (MO) OG Dalton Ford 6'5" 294.
Ford was among the many visitors at Mizzou's spring game, and he recently had a visit from Tiger OC/OL coach Josh Henson. He spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about the latest with his recruitment and the Tigers.
"Coach Henson just asked me how off season workouts were going. He said he reallllly likes me, but he just wants reassurance to know I'm as a good player as he thinks I am, so he wants me to come up in June so he can see me at camp. He said he likes me as a guard, and all the other schools I talk to say guard or center."
I asked Dalton about what he is hearing from Illinois and Minnesota lately?
"Illinois really wants me to commit but I'm not going to make a commitment until later on. Not sure what Coach Limegrover is going to have in store. We'll see," Ford said.
It looks like he has an opportunity to earn and offer next month camping with the Tigers.
