Williams Quick Hitter

Three-star Chicago Gordon Tech defensive lineman Raequan Williams is taking the recruiting process slowly, but talks about the latest happening inside.

He may be one of the top rising prospects in the area, but Chicago's Gordon Tech High three-star defensive lineman Raequan Williams is just taking the recruiting process slowly and deliberately.

"I'm good, the recruiting process has been great," Williams said.

As for new offers, there is one more school that has added their name to Williams offer list lately.

"Tennessee did," Williams said. "My coach told me that they were offering me, and I would like to get to know more about Tennessee, I don't know much about them right now."

There have been lots of schools dropping by Gordon Tech since the evaluation period started to see Williams.

"Schools that have stopped by have been Notre Dame, Iowa State, Arizona State, Tennessee, Missouri, Michigan, Purdue, Maryland, Connecticut, Penn State and Indiana," Williams said.

The most recent visit for the 6-foot-5, 265 pound prospect was to Iowa, and he doesn't have any more visits planned in the immediate future.
