Allen Decision Near Following Mizzou Visit

New Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson and assistant Tim Fuller hosted 3-star basketball standout D'Angelo Allen from Texas on Thursday. Allen spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com following his visit to give us the very latest on his recruitment and decision process.

This week, while new Head Coach Kim Anderson has been assembling his staff,  Missouri Basketball hosted 2014 SF prospect D'Angelo Allen  6'6"  185  Dallas (TX) Kimball for an official visit.    

Afterwards, Allen confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri has offered him a scholarship.    He also talked about his Missouri visit, and his upcoming decision.

"My Missouri visit went well,"   said Allen.   "It went well.   I haven't committed yet, but I'm thinking highly of Missouri.    I just like everything about Missouri that you can think of, the academics, the atmosphere, the people, and the coaching staff."

Allen said that Missouri Assistant Coach Tim Fuller has been recruiting him for quite a while.   He said that he met Coach Anderson during his visit.

"He's very, like chill,"   said Allen, speaking of Coach Anderson.    "To me, it's like he's ready to rock!"

Allen said that he's going to speak with his high school coach, Royce Johnson, when he gets back to Dallas, then he'd like to make a decision pretty quickly between Missouri and Oklahoma.
