Missouri Offer Big For Odeyingbo

Missouri continued it's spring evaluation trek through Texas and extended another offer to a Lone Star State athlete, who spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and breaks down where his latest offer fits among his top schools.

Missouri has extended a scholarship offer to 2015 DE prospect Dare Odeyingbo 6’2” 242 Irving (TX) Cistercian. Not long after he received word of his Missouri offer, Odeyingbo spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri offer, and his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“Missouri is a great offer! I’m definitely considering it,” said Odeyingbo. “It’d be a great school to go to. They’re very academically strong. And they’re athletically strong. I mean, it’d be a great place to continue my education.”

Defensive Coordinator Dave Steckel is the primary recruiter for Missouri on Odeyingbo, who reports a personal best of 4.74 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 29” vertical, and a maximum bench press of 290 pounds.

Odeyingbo’s offer list has been growing, and he currently holds offers from Air Force, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin, in addition to Missouri.

Oeyingbo said that he’s not ready to name any favorites, but he did identify a too early top three.

“I can’t really give any clear favorites,” explained Odeyingbo. “But, I mean, I really like Missouri! All of the schools that have offered me are great schools. But the top three schools are Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa. I mean, that’s like a tentative top three, because all of those schools are really great.”

Odeyingbo is planning to take some unofficial visits this summer, including a visit to Missouri.

He doesn’t currently have a decision timeline.
