ShowMeMizzou Video: Gammon At Mizzou Camp was impressed by the performance of 2015 hidden gem TE prospect Blaise Gammon at the Tigers second one day camp. He spoke with us following camp about his experience and what is going on with his recruitment, and what Tiger coaches had to say.

One of the more intriguing class of 2015 prospects at the Mizzou one day camps over the past week was Blue Valley (KS) West TE Blaise Gammon 6'7" 225. Gammon, had talent the past couple of years off from football, but you would not have known it watching him on the day in the various drills, and especially the receiving drills. Perhaps it doesn't hurt having a Dad who is a former NFL TE.

Here is what I wrote about Gammon in my one day camp report.

Blaise Gammon Blue Valley (KS) West: Gammon is another intriguing prospect. He has not played football since his freshman year of high school, and has focused on basketball the previous two years, excelling at that sport and holding several D1 basketball offers. He is currently averaging over 7 points per game and 5 rebounds per game for KC Run GMC, one of the top AAU programs in the country, which also features Mizzou FB commit Drew Lock, and Mizzou BB target Jimmy Whitt. Gammon runs well for his size and displays pretty good hands. He provides a big target at 6'7" 225. His size offsets his 5.0 forty time, but he did vertical jump almost 33 inches, and ran well along with showing very good agility. Blaise is physical post player on the basketball court, and he said that translates to how he plays the TE position. He also has good bloodlines, as his father is former NFL TE Kendall Gammon, who played with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs.

I spoke with Blaise after camp to find out more about him, his camp experience and his recruitment by the Tigers and others in this video.
