Following his unofficial visit to Missouri on Monday, 2015 WR prospect Emanuel Hall 6’3” 194 Franklin (TN) Centennial took a few minutes to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com about his Missouri visit, and about his upcoming decision.
“The Missouri visit went well. It went really well,” said Hall. “The coaches are really good coaches. And, the facilities are really nice. I really enjoyed the visit.”
“Both my parents really liked Missouri,” continued Hall. “We’re going to take a couple of days to sit down and talk about it. You know, I feel really good about Missouri, but you know, we’ll see where I end up going.”
Hall said that the Missouri visit really helped his view of Missouri.
“I’d met Coach Washington a couple of times,” explained Hall. “It was my first time meeting Coach Henson. You know, he’s a real good guy. I met basically the whole coaching staff. And, I met the head coach. You know, I just went and saw the facilities, and it was really nice.”
Hall is a multi-sport athlete who plays basketball and runs track for Centennial, in addition to playing football. His personal best is 11.04 seconds in the 100 meters, to go along with a 6’8” high jump. His personal best in the 40-yard dash is a hand-timed 4.45 seconds. He has been laser-timed at 4.51 seconds in the forty. He also reported personal bests of 41” in the standing vertical, 4.21 seconds in the 5-10-5 shuttle, and a bench max of 325 pounds.
He’s academically qualified, and on pace to graduate next May. Hall had more to say about his interaction with the Missouri staff.
“The Missouri coaches are super excited about me,” explained Hall. “You know, they showed me the offense, and where they think I can fit in. Coach Henson saw that I’m a really big guy, so he thinks I’d be a great fit! And, he told me that the quarterbacks can get it out to me. So, they were pretty excited about me! And from what I’ve seen, I’m pretty excited about Missouri. But you know, there are obviously a few other schools that I’m considering. So, we’ll see. But, Missouri was a very exciting experience, and it’s a very exciting school! You know, the coaching staff is great! You know, it’s always good to know that the head coach is going to be there for a while.”Hall has a decision to make this week. He’s considering Louisville, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. He said he doesn’t know which school he’s going to choose.
“As far as the number one school, I honestly don’t know right now,” said Hall. “But like I said, I’m feeling good about Missouri. But there are other schools that I’m feeling pretty good about. I’m going to sit down with my family, and we’ll come up with a choice on July 31st.”
