ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2016 QB prospect Steven Frank 6’4” 218 Oswego (IL), who had taken a recent unofficial visit to Missouri, and who had camped at Missouri earlier this summer. He talked about his Missouri visit and his interest in the Tigers. And, he updated us on the beginning stages of his recruitment.
“The Missouri visit was good,” said Frank. “It was probably my favorite visit so far. I really liked it. I liked all of the coaches. I really liked the quarterback coach. The stadium was really nice. And, I liked how the academics are really high there. I liked the people in the weight room. I liked the locker room and everything about it.”
Frank has been hitting the camp circuit hard all summer. He’s camped with or visited Arkansas, Illinois, Michigan, Northwestern, Southern Illinois, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin, among others, in addition to Missouri.
Frank said that he’s been talking to a trio of Missouri coaches, including Coach Pinkel, Coach Henson, and Coach Hill.
“Missouri said that they’re going to come see my first or second game this year,” continued Frank, who reported a personal best of 4.9 seconds in the 40-yard dash. “They said that they’re going to keep in contact with me, and that I’m one of their top guys right now.”
He said that he’s always liked Missouri.
“I’ve been a Missouri fan since I was a little kid,” explained Frank, who has started for 8-A Oswego since his freshman year. “I’ve always enjoyed watching them.”
