"I just made my decision to commit to Missouri a few minutes ago," said Perkins. "I told my coach about it. I haven't talked to Mizzou coaches yet, but I will be soon. I have practice at 3:30".
Perkins said Mizzou being close to home and the Tiger coaches made him pick Missouri.
"I loved it when I was up there. Missouri was always my top choice, but I talked to some friends I have on the team, and they helped convinced me that Mizzou was the place for me. I wanted to get it out of the way before the season, so now is a good time."
Perkins is a versatile athlete who excels both as a receiver and safety. He said Mizzou has recruited him as an athlete and he and they will decide on a position once he arrives there.
Ronnell is Missouri's 12th known commitment. He choose Missouri over Kentucky, Iowa, Purdue and others.
