Georgia LB Has Missouri On His Mind spoke with Georgia defender to get the latest on his recruitment by the Missouri Tigers.

Recently, spoke with 2015 LB prospect Daniel Fennell 6’3” 215 Loganville (GA) Grayson. He updated us on his recruitment, including his interest in Missouri.

“I’ve been in contact with Missouri a lot more as of late,” said Fennell, who identified Missouri assistant coach Alex Grinch as his primary recruiter. “I talked to (Coach Grinch) last week…………………………………………. I told him that I’m very interested (in Missouri), and that I want to take a visit up there.”

Fennell has received offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Marshall, Memphis, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Florida, Syracuse, Texas A&M, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin, in addition to Missouri.

He has previously identified a narrowed list of Texas A&M, Michigan State, Missouri, Duke, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and Louisville. Fennell addressed his narrowed list.

“Right now, I’m narrowing it down between Missouri, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, and Duke,” explained Fennell.

Fennell said that he feels that Missouri’s interest in him has increased of late.

“(Coach Grinch) said that he thinks I’d be a good guy for them,” related Fennell.

Fennell said that he has run the 40-yard dash in the 4.6-4.7 range.

“(My forty time) has been in the 4.6 area,” explained Fennell. “But the last time, it was 4.7.”

Fennell said that he’s very interested in Missouri. And, he said that he thinks Missouri is recruiting him “pretty hard”.

He said that an official visit will probably have to wait until after the season.

“We haven’t talked about a specific date, yet,” said Fennell. “We don’t have a lot of bye (weeks).”

Fennell said that it will “probably” be after the season before he makes a decision.
