Davis reports holding offers from Arizona, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Marshall, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Washington State, West Virginia, and Wisconsin, among others, in addition to Missouri.
Davis said that he is still considering Missouri, and that he speaks to Missouri assistant coach Brian Jones on a weekly basis.
“Missouri wants me to come for a visit,” explained Davis. “I haven’t decided if I’m going to visit Missouri. I’m going to evaluate all of that after the season.”
Davis said that he’s having a great senior season for district champion Lakewood.
“Missouri tells me that they need somebody in the slot,” said Davis. “They feel like I can be an All-American there.”
Davis named Arizona, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech, in addition to Missouri, as schools that are still in the picture for him. He has taken unofficial visits to Florida, Florida State, and Maryland. He’s going to set up his official visits following Lakewood’s play-off run,
“I don’t know yet (who I’m going to visit),” explained Davis. “I mean, I’m going to finalize where I’m going to take my visits after my season.”
Davis is not in a hurry to make a decision. It sounds like his recruitment may extend well into January.
