Missouri In The Mix With Riley

Missouri continues to heavily recruit the state of Georgia for top prospects in 2015.

Recently, 2015 Missouri offer and DE prospect Tyrone Riley 6’6” 245 Savannah (GA) Calvary Baptist spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on his recruitment.

Riley told ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri assistant Alex Grinch had stopped by his school during the Tigers’ bye week.

“It was nice to see Coach Grinch come by,” said Riley. “He said that Missouri really wants me.”

Riley currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Kentucky, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, Ole Miss, Purdue, Utah, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, and Wisconsin, in addition to Missouri.

Riley’s also a basketball player who has been timed at 4.73 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a maximum in the bench press of 265 pounds.

“Missouri’s a nice school,” said Riley.

He said that Missouri wants him to come for a visit. He said he might visit Missouri. He said that he hasn’t narrowed things down, or set up any official visits. He'll do that after the season. But he did say that he’s considering Missouri, along with North Carolina, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Wake Forest, and Georgia Southern.

Riley had taken unofficial visits during the summer to Georgia Southern, Kentucky, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, and Wake Forest.

He does not currently have a timetable for a decision.
