Over the weekend, Missouri hosted several prospects on official visits, including highly regarded interior offensive line prospect and longtime Missouri verbal commit, A.J. Harris 6’4” 280 Stilwell (KS) Blue Valley. Afterwards, Harris, who will likely play center at Missouri, spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his official visit, and all things Mizzou.
“My Missouri visit was really fun,” said Harris, who is familiar with many of the Missouri players, having been teammates in high school with Missouri red-shirt freshman offensive lineman Clay Rhodes.
Harris said that he is also well-acquainted with true freshman offensive lineman Michael Fairchild, the two of them having worked out together when they were in high school.
Harris intimated that he’s not receiving recruiting from other schools, and that he won’t take any other visits. He’s finished with his recruitment, and he’s looking forward to inking with Mizzou on Signing Day, and arriving at Missouri in June.
“I’m one-hundred percent solid to Mizzou,” said Harris.
Harris is especially pleased that Missouri hired A.J. Ricker last summer.
“I love Coach Ricker,” said Harris. “I like the way he coaches. I saw him up at practice, and I spent a lot of time with him when we went out to eat.”
