Daniels Updates About Missouri

Darrion Daniels from Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne took a few minutes to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

Recently, highly regarded 2015 DT prospect Darrion Daniels 6’4” 296 Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne took a few minutes to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

Daniels holds an offer list that includes Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Tech, Tulsa, USC, Washington State, and Wisconsin, among others, in addition to Missouri.

Daniels, who has been timed at 4.76 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has posted a bench max of 375 pounds, and has a personal best in the squat of 600 pounds. Interestingly, Daniels just turned 17 in December.

Daniels said that he has already taken official visits to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech. And, he’s considering taking official visits to Iowa and Missouri.

Daniels said that he continues to speak with Missouri Defensive Line Coach Craig Kuligowski on a regular basis.

He’d like to take an official visit to Missouri in January. But, he said that he’s “not sure” when his Missouri visit will take place. He said that Coach Kool wants him to visit on January 23. But, he told ShowMeMizzou.com that his father has yet to decide if Darrion will take that visit.

Daniels said that he’s holding off on his decision until he completes his visit. He’d like to visit Missouri before he makes a decision.

“I’m trying to hold out as long as I can,” explained Daniels. “Hopefully, I’ll still be able to take an official visit to Missouri.”
