Recently, 2015 LB prospect Terez Hall 6’2” 208 Lithonia (GA) MLK took a few minutes to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his interest in Missouri, and his visit plans, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.
Hall currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Indiana, and North Carolina Central. He said that Missouri Assistant Coach Alex Grinch has been recruiting him for a couple of months, and that he hopes the Tigers will soon offer.
Hall also played basketball in high school, and he is planning to compete in the high jump this spring. He has posted a personal best of 4.50 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 36” standing vertical jump, a bench press maximum of 300 pounds, and a squat maximum of 500 pounds.
Even though he plays in Atlanta, he has been under-recruited. He transferred into Martin Luther King as a junior, and he wasn’t eligible to play until late in his junior season. Then, MLK changed coaching staffs, so Hall flew under the radar until this fall. In 10 games as a senior, Hall made 125 tackles, forced 5 fumbles, recovered 5 fumbles, and returned an interception for a touchdown.
Hall said that he considers Cincinnati to be his best offer, but that a Missouri offer would blow the field away.
“I like Missouri a lot,” said Hall. “When Missouri started recruiting me, I started watching them more.”
Hall said that Missouri is recruiting him to play outside linebacker. He said that Coach Grinch is planning to come see him in mid-January.
He’s taken unofficial visits to Georgia and Tennessee.
Hall has official visits scheduled to Cincinnati on January 16, Missouri on January 23, and Indiana on January 30. He said that he hopes to receive a Missouri offer on his visit.
