The Missouri Tigers are lining up official visitors for the weekend of January 23, and ShowMeMizzou.com has confirmed a January 23rd official visit to Missouri for 2015 LB prospect Hassan Belton 6’0” 212 Blythewood (SC).

Belton currently holds offers from schools like Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, South Carolina State, and Towson, among others. He’s hoping to receive an offer from Missouri or TCU.

Belton said that Missouri has been recruiting him since last month. He’s been talking to Missouri assistants Craig Kuligowski and Barry Odom. He said that the Missouri coaches are coming to see him next week.

Belton also runs the 100 and 200 meters in track. He reports a personal best of 4.65 in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 36” standing vertical, and a 3.9-second 5-10-5 shuttle. His maximum bench press is 315 pounds, and his maximum in the squat is 425 pounds.

He’s also planning to visit TCU, Tennessee State, and Presbyterian.

Belton referred to himself as a hybrid linebacker” who can cover, as well as come down hill. He said that if Missouri offers, “it probably won’t take long” for him to commit.
