Georgia Lineman Picks Up Mizzou Offer spoke with the Tigers latest offer last night about his interest in Missouri, and what this means with his recruitment.

The Defensive Line Coach of the Year, Missouri’s Craig Kuligowski, was in the greater Atlanta-area on Thursday, and he stopped in at Parkview High School to see a 2015 defensive line prospect, G.G. Robinson 6’4” 285 Lilburn (GA) Parkview.

Robinson spoke with, and he talked about his first face-to-face meeting with Coach Kool.

“Coach Kool came by the school, and he offered me a scholarship,” explained Robinson. “He called me last night to tell me that he was coming by the school. That was the first time I had ever spoken to him.”

Robinson has offers from Cincinnati, Louisville, Mississippi State, Syracuse, USF, Virginia, and Wake Forest, among others, in addition to Missouri.

Robinson was previously unaware of Coach Kool’s record of success with sending defensive linemen to the NFL.

“I had no idea,” admitted the Georgia native.

Robinson was very impressed with Coach Kool, and his interest in Missouri immediately skyrocketed.

Robinson is considered a soft verbal commit to Louisville. He named Florida, Missouri, and Louisville as the schools he is now considering. He’s going to Louisville this weekend (1-16) for an official visit. He’s already taken an official visit to Iowa State. And, he has official visits scheduled to Kansas State (1-23), and Florida (1-30). He’s planning to visit Missouri this month. As of this writing, that visit has not yet been scheduled.

“We talked about a Missouri visit, but we have not set a date,” said Robinson.
