Last month, Missouri extended a scholarship offer to 2015 defensive line prospect Tyrell Jacobs 6’4” 260 Metairie (LA) Rummel. Recently, Jacobs spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his interest in Missouri.
“I’m very interested in Missouri,” said Jacobs. “I’m just waiting until Signing Day. I’ve been talking to the Missouri coaches.”
Jacobs has received scholarship offers from Arizona State, Army, California, Colorado State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Kansas State, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Tennessee, UCF, ULL, and ULM, among others, in addition to Missouri.
Jacobs is a long, lean, flexible defensive line prospect who projects as a three technique or a four technique. He'll have no trouble adding size and strength to his frame. He has good get off, unusual natural strength, and an impressive snap to whistle motor.
Jacobs is scheduled to take an official visit to Missouri on January 23.
He’s been receiving considerable recruiting interest from a number of schools since he decommitted from Oklahoma last month.
