Missouri In Top 3 For 4-Star Defender

howMeMizzou.com has learned that longtime Missouri offer and 2015 LB prospect Quarte Sapp 6’2” 202 Alpharetta (GA) Milton is strongly considering Missouri. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Sapp’s head coach, Howie Decristofaro.

Coach Decristofaro told ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri assistant coach Craig Kuligowski was in to see Sapp on Thursday, the first day that coaches can be out recruiting. He said that Sapp is very interested in Missouri. He identified Michigan State, Missouri, and Tennessee as the schools that Sapp is currently considering.

“He likes Missouri,” said Coach Decristofaro. “It’s in the SEC. That’s where he wants to play.”

According to Coach Decristofaro, Sapp has been timed at 4.55 seconds in the 40-yard dash, and he has a personal best of 39” in the standing vertical jump, and a maximum of 340 pounds in the bench press.

“He’s a very good football player,” said Coach Decristofaro, speaking of Sapp. “He’s very strong!”

Sapp has already taken an official visit to Tennessee. He’s taking his official visit to Michigan State on January 23. He’s taking an official visit to Missouri on January 30.
