Will Greenard Visit Missouri?

ShowMeMizzou.com has an update on the recruitment and possible visit to Mizzou by a stand out DE.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with long-time Missouri offer and 2015 DE prospect Jonathan Greenard 6’4” 230 Hiram (GA). The Louisville commit updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

“I’ve been strongly considering taking an official visit to Missouri,” explained Smith. “I haven’t taken any other visits. Louisville and Missouri are the only schools I’m considering.”

Greenard has a respectable offer list that includes offers from Appalachian State, Kentucky, Louisville, and Miami (OH), among others, in addition to Missouri.

Greenard has been verbally committed to Louisville for about six months, and he took an official visit to Louisville in December. The only other visit he has tentatively planned is the one to Missouri.

Greenhard has posted a personal best of 4.71 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 33” standing vertical jump, and a maximum of 270 pounds in the bench press. This is the first year that he has not played basketball.

Greenhard said that Missouri assistant and defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski is recruiting him, and that Coach Kool stopped by his school last week.

Greenard cited the SEC and Missouri’s success with producing NFL defensive linemen as factors leading to his interest in Missouri.

He’s a big Shane Ray fan.

He said he may take an official visit to Missouri on January 30.

Smith said that “depending on how I like everything,” on his Missouri visit, he would consider making a change in his commitment.
