Among the several official visitors that Missouri hosted over the weekend of January 23-25 was Missouri commit and 2015 WR prospect Emanuel Hall 6’3” 194 Franklin (TN) Centennial. Following his visit, Hall spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his official visit.
“It was a pretty good weekend,” began Hall, speaking of his official visit to Missouri. “It was really fun! I got to talk to a lot of the players, and I learned a lot about the program. I finally got to talk to Drew Lock. I’m really excited about him! And, I got to talk to some of the wide receivers, and they were telling all about how the program is, and how the school is, and things like that. It was really fun, and I got to learn a lot.”
Hall was hosted on his Missouri visit by red-shirt freshman receiver Thomas Richard.
Hall chose Missouri over offers from Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, among others, in addition to Missouri.
Previously, Hall had cited his relationship with Missouri wide receivers coach Pat Washington, the academics at Missouri, the family atmosphere at Missouri, and the wide receiver friendly Missouri offense, as among the reasons he chose Missouri.
Hall said that the “closeness of the team” was what stood out the most to him on his visit.
“They’re all very close,” said Hall, speaking of the Missouri players and coaches alike.
Hall is a multi-sport athlete who has played basketball, and who currently runs track for Centennial, in addition to playing football. His personal best is 10.9 seconds in the 100 meters, to go along with a 6’8” high jump. His personal best in the 40-yard dash is a hand-timed 4.45 seconds. He has been laser-timed at 4.51 seconds in the forty. He also reported personal bests of 41” in the standing vertical, 4.21 seconds in the 5-10-5 shuttle, and a bench max of 325 pounds.
Hall will sign with Missouri next week. Then, he’ll matriculate to Missouri in June.
