Who Could Pick Up A Mizzou Offer At Jr. Day?

With Missouri having a junior day event on Saturday, ShowMeMizzou.com takes a look at those who could possibly land an offer soon.

The Missouri Tigers will be hosting a large number of junior day visitors on Saturday for their 2015 recruiting event full of the class of 2016 prospects. ShowMeMizzou.com shares who they think are most likely to come away with a Mizzou offer on the day or shortly after.

Brendan Scales 6'4' 230 TE 4.7 forty St. Louis (MO) Lafayette high school has been high on the Tigers evaluation board since December it appears. The talented big athlete has already picked up a hand full of offers, including from Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, North Carolina State and Western Kentucky. He will be hitting some more junior day events at Louisville, Michigan State, Memphis and has been talking to Oregon. He has already been to Iowa, Indiana and Illinois events. A good friend of current Tiger Andy Bauer, Scales informs me that he is high on Mizzou, likes how they have a need for a TE in this class, and wants to stay close to home for college so his family can watch him play.

Roderick Campbell 6'0" 185 CB 4.5 St. Louis (MO) Chaminade is up to six offers already from Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue,Northwestern and Duke. Campbell, who is the cousin of former Mizzou basketball Tiger Jimmy McKinney, says he is looking forward to his visit, and likes how Coach Ford keeps it real when talking with him. He also told me that he has always liked Mizzou and the chance to play for the home school is intriguing.

Tre Bryant 5'9" 195 RB 4.47 St. Louis (MO) CBC picked up a couple of offers recently from Indiana following a junior day visit, and Kansas. He is also being recruited by Wisconsin, Kansas State and Northern Illinois. The speedy Bryant is a similar type back to recent Missouri Tiger backs. He is fast, elusive, can run inside or out, can catch the ball well and is a very good return man. He loves the thought of playing in the SEC and how Mizzou uses a multiple back system like his high school does.

Lamar Anderson 5'10" 185 ATH 4.5 forty St. Louis (MO) CBC and teammate of Bryant's picked up his first offer this past Wednesday from Kansas. The versatile Anderson has been on Mizzou's radar for a long time, especially with Coach Ford. He could wind up playing on either side of the ball at either receiver or DB. He has some similarities to current Tiger Aarion Penton.

Karon Randolph 6'4" 195 WR East St. Louis (IL) will be attending along with 2016 teammate Tre'Vour Simms 6'5" 300 OL and 2017 WR and Mizzou offer Jeff Thomas. Randolph already has an offer from Florida State, but the Tigers have been evaluating the talented athlete. Given the recent pipeline with East Side for the Tigers, an offer to Randolph would not be surprising.

Those would be the most likely prospects.

McCluer North WR Harry Ballard 6'3" 195 will be attending and should impress the staff with his current size. Ballard told me the Tigers have told him they are "very interested", but also mentioned to him about wanting him to come to camp. So, he may be a later decision on an offer.

Local school Rock Bridge has multiple prospects attending, including S Bryce Banks 6'2" 190, TE/DE Hayden Johnson 6'3" 240 and DE Tre Williams 6'5" 205. Banks may be the best prospect of the three at the moment. Johnson is a hard-nosed and talented prospect. Williams is thin, especially playing basketball, and could be a bit of a project, but he has good height and athleticism. He plays a little stiff and too tall. The Tigers could wait until spring or camp season before a possible offer if they have questions regarding any of them.

Kansas City area prospects such as Brendan McConnell, D'Vontae Brown and Briley McKinney-Moore are talented prospects attending junior day, but they may have to wait until camp season before hearing about a possible offer.
