A talented receiver prospect from St. Louis attended Missouri’s Junior Day, after which he spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about the unofficial visit to Mizzou and about his interest in the Tigers.
“The Missouri Junior Day went good,” said 2016 WR prospect Roddrick Bryant 6’3” 195 St. Louis (MO) CBC. “It was a great experience! We got to see the (basketball) game. It was great!”
Bryant said that his CBC teammate and recent Missouri running back offer Tre Bryant, “is one of my closest friends. We do a lot together………………………………. A lot of people say that we’re brothers.”
Roddrick missed his entire junior season while recovering from the ACL surgery he underwent last April. He said that he “will be running track” this spring. Bryant said that he’ll soon “be one-hundred percent.”
He said that he’ll run the 400 meters, and “maybe the 200 (meters)”. Bryant is interested in showing that he has regained the 4.54-second speed in the 40-yard dash that he posted nearly two years ago.
“I think Missouri is pretty interested in me,” said Bryant. “They’re going to come watch me run. They’re going to come to some of the (track) meets.”
Bryant said that he’s planning to camp at Missouri. He understands that since he missed his junior season with the knee injury, Missouri may need to see more of him.
“They say that they want to offer me, but they want to see where I am, coming (back) from the injury,” explained Bryant. “I’ve just got to show them that I’m back to one-hundred percent.”
Bryant would like to re-visit Missouri this spring.
