Anderson Updates On Mizzou

Texas prospect talks about his Missouri offer and overall recruitment.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Missouri offer and 2016 TB prospect Darius Anderson 5’11” 193 Richmond (TX) George Ranch. Anderson talked about his Missouri offer, and his interest in the Tigers, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

“My coach told me Missouri offered me a scholarship,” said Anderson. “They’re one of my top schools. I don’t really have a top list of schools right now, but I know (Missouri) is up there.”

Anderson currently holds offers from California, Colorado, Houston, Indiana, Iowa State, SMU, Texas, Texas State, New Mexico, and Tulsa, among others, in addition to Missouri.

Anderson self-reports a personal best of 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 38” vertical jump, a 4.22-second 5-10-5 shuttle, and a maximum in the bench press of 310 pounds.

Anderson identified Missouri Assistant Coach A.J. Ricker as his primary recruiter. And he said that he’s planning to visit Missouri, hopefully this summer.

He said that he is familiar with how Missouri utilizes their running backs. And he said he feels that he’s a good fit for the Missouri offense.

Anderson said that he is planning to make a final decision before his senior season.
