Linebacker Planning Missouri Visit gets the latest on a Tiger linebacker target.

Missouri offer and 2016 LB prospect Tyrel Dodson 6’2” 230 Franklin (TN) Centennial is still planning to take an unofficial visit to Missouri “very soon”. He spoke with, and he talked about his visit plans as well as his Missouri interest.

“I didn’t get the chance to visit Missouri for the Spring Game,” explained Dodson. “But I should be visiting Missouri in the next three to four weeks. Coach Washington told me that he just wants me to come tour their camp. He said that if I wanted to camp, I could.”

Dodson is “pretty good friends” with incoming Missouri WR Emanuel Hall.

Dodson is a very strong, physical, middle linebacker type who “loves to hit”. And, he was just named the top performer at the National Playmakers Academy Nashville Showcase, an event conducted in t-shirts and shorts, in which he demonstrated his coverage ability.

He told that he’s been working on improving his speed and quickness.

Dodson currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Colorado State, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois, Illinois State, Memphis, Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico State, Oregon State, Purdue, and Texas A&M, among others, in addition to Missouri. Tennessee and Vanderbilt are also showing interest.

“I’m pretty high on Missouri, Texas A&M, and Illinois,” said Dodson. He said that he’s “not sure” when he’ll make a decision.

“I honestly don't know (when I'll make a decision),” explained Dodson. "Probably whenever it hits me."
