Recent Offer Jordan Wilson Talks Missouri

The Missouri Tigers continue on the trail in Tennessee for prospects.

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with recent Missouri offer and 2016 TE prospect Jordan Wilson 6’5” 215 Nashville (TN) Montgomery Bell. Wilson talked about the Missouri offer, and his interest in the Tigers, and he updated us the current status of his recruitment.

“I was pretty excited about the Missouri offer,” said Wilson. “In their offensive system, they use their tight ends well.”

Wilson seems familiar with the Missouri offense. He said that the Missouri offense is similar to the one he plays in at Montgomery Bell.

Wilson identified Missouri Assistant Coach Pat Washington and Missouri Offensive Coordinator Josh Henson as his primary recruiters. He said that he’s been talking to both of them.

Wilson currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Illinois, Louisville, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, and West Virginia, in addition to Missouri. He’s also receiving interest from Michigan, Kentucky, and Mississippi State.

Wilson also plays basketball and runs track. He reports a personal best of 4.70 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Wilson still has a way to go in his recruitment.

“I wouldn’t say that I have a top five at present,” explained Wilson. “But if I did, Missouri would be in it.”

Wilson wants to take an unofficial visit to Missouri this summer, but he wasn’t sure exactly when that visit will occur.

“Hopefully, sometime this summer,” explained Wilson, talking about a potential Missouri visit.

He said that he’ll probably make a decision after his senior season.
