The expected mid-year graduate told ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri Assistant Coach Craig Kuligowski has been recruiting him hard.
“Coach Kool wants me bad,” explained Tanielu. “You know, I think (Missouri’s) a good program!”
Tanielu is getting close to making a decision, but as he explained to ShowMeMizzou.com, he’d still like to take a visit to Missouri.
“I’m taking an official visit to Missouri on the September fourth weekend,” explained Tanielu. “The hardest part for me is that I haven’t been to Missouri, and I just really don’t want to commit to somewhere that I haven’t been. That’s kind of where I stand at the moment.”
Tanielu expressed that he feels some pressure to go ahead and make a commitment. But, he also wants to visit Missouri. He just doesn’t want to commit to Missouri site unseen.
“Because I haven’t been to Missouri, I don’t want to commit to Missouri,” explained Tanielu. “I just respect Coach Kool and I like what he has to offer. But I just really don’t want to go somewhere that I haven’t seen. I want to go somewhere that I can actually live and like it there. I just want to make sure that it’s a good place for me. I definitely want to go on the Mizzou visit.”
“Honestly, it comes down to if I like the area,” concluded Tanielu.
