Atlanta Mays LB Tobias Little To Mizzou

Missouri dips into Georgia for athletic linebacker prospect.

The Missouri Tigers added to their 2016 football class on Wednesday night, as Atlanta (GA) Mays LB prospect Tobias Little 6'1" 235 pulled the trigger on a verbal commitment to Mizzou. some with Little's high school head coach Corey Jarvis about his standout defender who will be playing in the SEC following his senior year.

"Tobias (Little) is just a freak athlete," said Jarvis. "He is 6'1" 235 and runs a legit 4.5 forty, and can do anything we ask him to do defensively. He played outside linebacker for us mostly,,but he could also put his hand down and rush the passer. He is so fast off the edge and tough to block. However; we moved him to the MIKE position, and he has really taken to it for us in the spring, and just continued to get better. He is so fast and quick that he just makes plays whether it is sideline to sideline or screen passes, he is so fast to the ball and physical that he blows plays up."

Besides being a great athlete and football player, Coach Jarvis spoke highly of Little as a person as well."

"Tobias is just a good kid all around who is very coachable and loyal along with being the athlete he is. Everything is yes sir and no sir with him. He does everything you ask of him and always gives it his all. Missouri is getting a good one, who is very similar to other recent Mizzou players who have gone on to play in the NFL," he said.

"In fact, I don't know if it had anything to do with his committing, but I had a conversation with him a couple weeks ago, and I told him how he looked like a Mizzou player. Guys like Markus Golden, Shane Ray, Michael Sam who recently were drafted and were quick, fast athletic guys but not very tall. He is also very similar to Sean Weatherspoon, another former Missouri linebacker. Tobias wanted to make a decision soon, and I think he made a great one."

Along with offers from Troy, Marshall, Iowa and Indiana, Little was being recruited by South Carolina, Clemson, Louisville and Georgia Tech.

Little is expected to qualify coming out of high school.
