The University of Missouri basketball team snapped a nine-game losing streak with a win over Tennessee on Saturday afternoon but now hosts a South Carolina team coming off a 27-point blowout loss to Kentucky.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
South Carolina defeated visiting Missouri 81-72 at Colonial Life Arena in the first meeting of the season. The Gamecocks had four players in double figures, led by 22 points from Thornwell.
The overall series between Missouri and South Carolina is tied 3-3 but the Tigers are 2-0 at home against the Gamecocks.
Rosburg, a senior forward, is averaging 20.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game over the last three games.
Missouri is 9-5 at Mizzou Arena this season, compared to 0-11 away from home (0-8 away, 0-3 neutral sites). The Tigers are 9-0 at home this season when leading at halftime.
South Carolina suffered an 89-62 home loss against Kentucky on Saturday. The Gamecocks are 3-0 this season following a loss. One of those victories came against Mizzou earlier this season. South Carolina had lost to Alabama by 23 points in its previous game.
South Carolina freshman forward Raymond Doby was high school teammates with Missouri’s Jordan Barnett at CBC in St. Louis. Barnett recently transferred from Texas and is not eligible to play until midway through next season.
South Carolina ranks ninth among Division I schools in rebounding, grabbing an average of 41.6 rebounds per game. Missouri is tied for 240th at 35.2 rebounds per contest.
Carrera, a 6-foot-5 senior forward, had 25 points and 10 rebounds against Kentucky. He recently surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his four-year career with the Gamecocks.
