Mizzou-Florida Hoops Preview

Missouri will host Florida in a Southeastern Conference contest on Saturday night with both teams looking to snap four-game losing streaks.

The University of Missouri basketball team closes out its season on Saturday night against visiting Florida at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers will honor their lone senior, Rosburg, during Senior Night festivities on Saturday night. The senior forward has averaged 15.5 points per game over Mizzou’s last eight contests. He has scored in double figures in seven of his last eight games.

Missouri beat Florida 64-52 in the teams’ last meeting, Feb. 24, 2015, at Mizzou Arena. Wright scored a career-high 28 points.

The Tigers have lost four straight games and 13 of their last 15.

Phillips is the eighth freshman in school history to surpass 100 assists in a season and the first to achieve that feat since Phil Pressey during the 2010-11 campaign.

Tigers freshman guard K.J. Walton has scored in double figures in three of the last five games, raising his scoring average to 5.3 points per game. He hit three 3-pointers against LSU. 

Florida has lost four straight games and five of six. 

Egbunu is coming off a career-high 27 points, including nine dunks, in a loss to Kentucky. The 6-foot-11 redshirt sophomore had scored 22 points in his previous game against LSU.
