Illinois tight end Logan Christopherson has been busy checking out schools and competing at camps and recently named his top three schools.
On Thursday, Christopherson decided it was time to make a decision and made a verbal commitment to the University of Missouri.
“It really just felt right,” Christopherson told BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder from Lemont Township High School visited Missouri a few weeks ago and came away impressed with the Southeastern Conference program.
“I think one of the biggest highlights was the family atmosphere that Coach (Joe Jon) Finley, Coach (Barry) Odom and Coach (Josh) Heupel all gave off to me,” Christopherson said then. “I thought that kind of stuck out the most. Next to that, the facilities. Being the first school I visited in the SEC, it was just phenomenal. It was really very impressive.”
The three-star tight end becomes the fourth Class of 2017 commitment for Barry Odom and the Tigers, following Kansas City area wide receiver DaRon Davis, Texas offensive lineman Hyrin White and Indianapolis offensive lineman Pompey Coleman.
BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com will have more on Christopherson this week.
