Missouri in Top 10 For Louisiana WR Davis

Louisiana Class of 2017 wide receiver Al'Dontre Davis released a top 10 list on Friday.

Louisiana wide receiver Al'Dontre Davis announced his top 10 list via his Twitter account on Friday and Missouri was among the schools to make the cut.

Davis, a 6-foot, 200-pounder from Lutcher High School, is rated as the 62nd-best wide receiver prospect in the Class of 2017. He listed Mississippi State, Georgia, Arizona, Tennessee, Mississippi, LSU, Texas A&M, USC, Kansas and Missouri.

Davis competed at the Nike Opening regional on April 10 in New Orleans and ran a 4.83-second 40-yard dash, 4.70-second 20-yard pro agility shuttle and 30.2-inch vertical leap.

The team to beat for Davis will be LSU, where his high school teammate and close friend, Jontre Kirklin, has already committed. Davis and Kirklin attend the same high school, Lutcher, as former LSU standout Jarvis Landry.

Kirklin and Davis led Lutcher to the Louisiana Class 3A state championship in 2015. Davis caught a 22-yard touchdown pass in the 41-14 victory at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
